Born and raised in Pompano Beach, Dr. Robert Tannhauser graduated from Saint Andrew’s High School in Boca Raton and then went on to attend Berry College in Rome, Georgia, where he was awarded an honors Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, with a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Tannhauser’s veterinary journey began in 2014, when he started volunteering at Seiler Animal Hospital. He continued working there during summers throughout high school and college, gaining valuable hands-on experience, and confirming his passion for veterinary medicine. He later earned a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in the spring of 2025.
In his spare time, Dr. Tannhauser enjoys fishing, hiking, cooking, and training his family’s agility dog. He is excited to bring his skills and passion to Seiler Animal Hospital and looks forward to caring for your pets.
